The United Martial Arts College (my father’s martial arts studio) - Sacramento, August 2011. My father opened his first dojang in the U.S. in 1964. He has had several in Sacramento and Davis. This location, by far the longest one he had, opened in 1977. I spent most of my life training here. This is all I knew for a very long time.
